Chairman of the Board
Mr. James Love, Chairman of the Board at Ashe & Ross was born and raised in Alamance County. A mental health professional, coach, writer, artist and entrepreneur, James has spent nearly two decades serving his local communities through teaching in both public and private education, coaching basketball at various levels, consulting on local business ventures, producing public art, and bearing witness to people’s varied life experiences in the clinical counseling setting.
What ties it together is a simple belief: people do better when someone is in their corner. James has been that person for students, athletes, and clients for years. He cares about everyone’s mental health, but he’s especially driven to reach men, who too often are told to tough it out alone.
James holds a degree in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson and is currently finishing the coursework for his Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Wake Forest University. James was the driving force behind establishing Ashe & Ross, and he chose its name with care as it is tied to his own family’s history in Alamance County. We are excited to have his business and counseling expertise on the board at Ashe & Ross.

Board Treasurer
Board Secretary
With a decade of experience in education and data management, Jenna has served students across K-12 public education, including multilingual learners and students with exceptional needs. She holds degrees in TESOL and Intercultural Studies from Indiana Wesleyan University; studies that sharpened her understanding of how language, culture, and background shape the way people learn, connect and move through the world.
In recent years, she has turned that perspective toward data management within the education system, designing operational systems that hold up in daily use. Where some see data as just numbers, Jenna sees the people behind them and she helps to build systems that serve the people rather than the other way around.
That combination of heart and structure is what she brings to Ashe & Ross, where she serves as Board Secretary.
